ACTIVIST ALERT
As employers deploy AI technologies to surveil, manage and attempt to automate many jobs, CWA members have led the charge to give workers a voice in how AI is implemented in the workplace so that these new technologies contribute to shared prosperity rather than being misused to squeeze workers harder and deskill our jobs.
Join me and CWA members from our AI Committee for a virtual town hall on Tuesday, November 4 to discuss the ways AI technologies are impacting our jobs, and how we can protect the dignity of our work in the AI age.

🗓️ Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT/6 pm MT/5 pm PT
✏️ Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ncjQlVg3SJKGVn1Lsy-7Zg
During the town hall we’ll:
- Take an in-depth look at how AI technologies are being implemented in CWA industries, including telecom, customer service, media, tech and others.
- Explain how invisible AI is being used to surveil workers and introduce algorithmic discrimination into the workplace and bosses are attempting to automate functions of our jobs.
- Introduce resources and tools developed by the CWA Committee on Artificial Intelligence to empower our members to bargain strong contracts that ensure human oversight, transparency, and protect our hard-won union rights.
- Discuss what you can do to fight back and how, together, we can use the power of our union contracts to protect human dignity and creativity in the workplace.
Our union has faced changing technologies and automation over the course of our history. Corporations have never stopped trying to leverage new technologies to gain more control over our labor. Join us on November 4th for more information on how AI is impacting our jobs and to join other CWA members and retirees in the fight to protect our jobs and dignity as technology evolves.
